<font size="2">Cares for skilled nursing residents under the direction of the nursing staff by performing the following duties</font><font size="2"><span style="display: none">&&nbsp;</span></font><br /> <br /> Answers call lights, bells or intercom system promptly to determine the resident&&rsquo;s needs.<br /> &&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp; Bathe, dress, undress, toilet, groom and perform oral care for residents.<br /> &&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp; Serves and collects food trays, feeds residents&&nbsp; that requiring help and passes nourishment&&rsquo;s.<br /> &&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp; Transports residents and assists residents to walk using transfer belt.<br /> Turns and repositions bedfast residents alone or with assistance in order to prevent bedsores or contractures, or for comfort.<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> &&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp;&&nbsp; Changes bed linens, runs errands and directs visitors.<br /> Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, food and fluid intakes and output as directed.<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> Assembles and uses such equipment as hydraulic lift, Hoyer lift, weight scales and other equipment as needed for resident care.<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> Sanitizes equipment.<br /> Tidies up rooms, puts resident clothes and linens in their proper places.<br /> Attends inservices regularly.<br /> Documents as required<br /> Reports resident change to wing nurse.<br /> Understands and follows the vulnerable adult and abuse policy and reporting procedure.<br /> Provides privacy for residents during personal cares and when desired by the resident.<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> <strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br /> Assist with on the job training as assigned.<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> <strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</strong>:&&nbsp; To perform the job successfully, an individual must&&nbsp;<br /> perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&&nbsp; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.&&nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&&nbsp; Current on the Minnesota Registry<br /> &&nbsp;<br /> <strong><em>EDUCATION AND/OR&&nbsp; EXPERIENCE</em></strong><br /> Less than high school education; up to one month job related experiences or training; or, equivalent combinations of education and experience.&&nbsp; Maintain 12 hours of Continued Education Units&&nbsp; (CEU) every year.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p style="text-align: center"> <strong><span style="font-size: 11px"><span>St. Francis Health Services of Morris, Inc.&&nbsp;and it&&#39;s affiliates are&&nbsp;an Equal Opportunity Employer.&&nbsp;</span></span><br /> <span style="display: none">&&nbsp;</span><span style="display: none">&&nbsp;</span><span style="display: none">&&nbsp;</span><span style="display: none">&&nbsp;</span></strong></p>
