Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of all of the Family Wellness properties such as minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool and fitness repairs as well as custodial duties.

Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement):
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent along with two (2) years of directly related experience is required.

Licensure/Certification Requirement(s):

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred upon hire or obtained within 6 months of hire

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Makes initial service call on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool and fitness equipment problems.
  • Performs routine maintenance checks of the facility and follows the maintenance process set in place by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
  • Orders and purchases maintenance parts and supplies within budget guidelines and submits billing requests accurately and timely.
  • Follows and assists in completion of Equipment and Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Responsible for weekend on-call rotation. The rotation will require 1 weekend per every 4 weeks.
  • Occasional custodial duties, including but not limited to collecting and restocking towels in locker rooms and fitness areas and removing snow from entryways.
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This employee will have exposure to extreme temperature or humidity, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, and work with mechanical, electrical, chemical, explosive, or burn hazards.

BLOOD EXPOSURE
This position is classified as a Category III position under OSHA guidelines with no risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials.
